SYSTEM OVERVIEW
Stretched-fabric Wall Panel Systems are the wall treatment of choice for a wide range of commercial and institutional applications. They successfully address the aesthetic, acoustical, and functional considerations of wall and ceiling treatment; and do so cost effectively.

SPECIFICATIONS
This system incorporates a track which frames the chosen substrate in high-impact plastic. The selected fabric or other covering is stretched across the surface of the panel and inserted into the tracks tight fitting jaws which hold the fabric taught, concealing the edge of the fabric in a hidden channel.

By placing the SCREEN6™ strategically and adjusting the spacing from the surface, the acoustical response can be optimized to the unique relationship of the monitors, listeners, and room boundaries.

The Auralex® SonoSuede Pro™ or SonoSuede HT™ is a cost-effective complete do-it-yourself room treatment system ideal for the professional studio or any critical listening environment. The synthetic suede fabric-covered panels provide the acoustical performance and visual impact critical for today’s applications. The SonoSuede System’s unique mounting blocks help you get the most out of your treatment by spacing the panels off the wall. The resulting air gap dramatically improves low frequency absorption and also offers a multitude of decorative options.

Sound Absorption Products

The two most commonly-used sound absorption materials are high-quality acoustic foam and specialized acoustic fiberglass (no, not the stuff you buy at the hardware store). For brevity, at times we'll generically call acoustic foam just “plain foam”, although there are very dramatic differences in cell structure and density between acoustic foam and the thousands of other types we could manufacture.

Bass Traps

Low frequency sound waves are so long - and thus so strong - they are the toughest to control. This is true no matter whether you're attempting to block their transmission to a neighboring space or trying to absorb them to clean up the low frequency response within a room. Controlling low frequency sound is harder than controlling mid or high frequency sound and generally requires more effort and expense.

Sound Diffusion Products

Acoustic sound diffusion keeps sound waves from grouping, so there are no hot spots or nulls in a room. Diffusion obliterates standing waves and flutter echoes without simply removing acoustic energy from the space or greatly changing the frequency content of the sound. Acoustic sound diffusion can make a small space seem large and a large space seem even larger.
